Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, which is a turning point in Turkey's energy infrastructure, draws attention with its ongoing construction works in Mersin. In this giant project, the critical lots undertaken by Mr. Construction are the basis of the technical infrastructure of the power plant. With the studies carried out between 2020-2023, Mr. Construction made an important contribution to the energy future of our country.
Nuclear Power Plant's Basic Stones
Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power plant in Turkey. The project is implemented in line with energy independence and sustainable development goals. Mr. Construction, with the lots undertaken in this context, the technical and safety infrastructure of the power plant built a significant portion. Especially the studies carried out in critical areas such as reactor cooling systems, auxiliary facilities and fire extinguishing systems play a key role in the success of the project.
The role of Mr. Construction in the project
Mr. Construction undertook turnkey projects in different lots of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. Within the scope of Lot 8 and Lot 22, the company built reactor cooling water channels and siphon structures and completed the auxiliary facilities of the power plant in Lot 11. In Lot 90, the construction of the reactor tunnels in the construction of the construction, Lot 59 also assembled fire extinguishing systems. These studies are of great importance for the safe and efficient operation of the nuclear power plant.
